DU UG Admission 2024: 74,108 students have taken admission in Delhi University, out of which 45,298 students have frozen their seats and 28,810 students have opted for upgrading their seats. This year, 764 single girl children and 132 orphans have taken admission in various undergraduate courses under the supernumerary quota in Delhi University.
Delhi University released the third round of seat allotment results on Tuesday. Under the single girl child reserved quota, one seat is reserved for a single girl child in every program in every college of DU. Apart from this, under the orphan reserved quota, one seat is reserved in every program for both men and women in all the colleges of DU.
In the third round, 1,061 candidates have been allotted seats under Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) and 1,648 candidates under Support Quota. A total of 2,682 students have been upgraded to higher preference programmes. Apart from this, 332 students have been allotted seats based on performance criteria. Seat allocation under Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel (CW) categories has not been done yet and will be announced soon.
