The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is slated to commence the registration process for the second phase of recruitment for the Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) today, November 5. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply on the official website of the commission at bpsc.bih.nic.in or onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in. The last date to register is November 14. Candidates can also register with late fees between November 15 and 17. The application correction window will remain open from Nov 10 up to Nov 25.
These positions are for teaching in Secondary School (class 6-8) and Higher Secondary (class 9-10). In addition to hiring Elementary teachers, Secondary Teachers, and Higher Secondary Trained teachers, there will also be appointments for head teachers in the Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare departments.
The selection of candidates will be based on the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination (Bihar TRE 2023), scheduled to take place from December 7 to December 12. In this recruitment drive, the commission intends to fill 69,692 positions for school teachers. The first phase of recruitment had the goal of filling approximately 170,000 positions.
BPSC TRE Second Phase 2023: How to Apply
Candidates can follow the step-by-step process mentioned below to apply online for BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023:
Step 1: Navigate to the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Step 2: Tap on the BPSC online application link for school teachers.
Step 3: Now, it will redirect you to a new page where you need to enter your details and upload valid ID proof in PDF form.
Step 4: Then, upload the required documents which should not be less than 100 KB in size and should be in PDF form.
Step 5: Check the information and submit it on the BPSC portal.
Step 6: Lastly, pay the fee and wait for the confirmation notification of form submission.

BPSC earlier announced the results of the School Teacher Appointment Competitive Examination for classes 1 to 5 for phase 1. As many as 1,22,324 candidates have qualified in the Bihar Public Service Commission Teacher Recruitment Exam (BPSC TRE).
