In this, the cutoff for general category was 185.34. The cutoff for OBC was 172.32, that of SC was 145.39 and that of ST category was 114.19. Earlier also the written examination was of 300 marks only. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had received applications from 19,38,643 candidates for recruitment to 49568 posts of police and PAC constables. Considering the total number of vacancies among the candidates found successful in the written examination, on the basis of merit, 2.5 times more i.e. 1,23,921 candidates were called for physical test and DV. If we talk about the recruitment of 41 thousand UP Police constables in 2018, then the cutoff marks for general category among men were 225.03, OBC was 216.74, SC was 187.99 and ST was 153.31. The written examination was of 300 marks only.
