UP Police Constable Exam 2024 New Dates: The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to cancel the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2023 on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The government has taken this decision after reports of paper leak for the written examination held across the state on 17 and 18 February 2024 emerged. More than 48 lakh candidates had applied for this recruitment drive launched across the state, out of which about 43 lakh candidates appeared in the examination. The government has said that the examination will be conducted again within the next six months.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on social media platform X that no compromise can be made with the sanctity of examinations. He has said that those who play with the hard work of the youth will not be spared under any circumstances. Strictest action is certain to be taken against such unruly elements.
Let us tell you, State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered that the UP Police Constable examination should be conducted again within 6 months. In such a situation, the examination can be conducted in the month of August or before. Till now no update has come from Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board regarding the date of examination.
