UPSC Civil Services Exam Question Papers 2024: UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 26, 2024. This is the first stage for higher posts like IAS, IPS, IFS. After clearing which, candidates will get a chance to appear in the main examination. Let us tell you, UPSC Prelims exam is a qualifying exam, that is, its marks will not be added to the final result, but without passing this exam, you will not be able to reach the next stage.
UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam, 2024 will consist of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. Which is called General Studies Paper – I, General Studies Paper II. It is also known as CSAT or Civil Services Aptitude Test. Multiple choice questions will be asked in both the papers and the examination time for each paper will be two hours.
UPSC Prelims is conducted in offline mode, in which candidates have to use paper and pen. Let us tell you, in these papers questions related to history, geography, economics, politics, environment, science and current affairs and other subjects are asked. According to the UPSC IAS exam pattern, negative marking of 0.33% marks is also done for each wrong answer. Let us tell you, the question papers will be set in both Hindi and English.

As per UPSC CSE Exam Centers 2024, the Prelims exam will be conducted in 80 exam centers and the Mains exam will be conducted in 24 exam centers. Let us tell you, UPSC had released the official notification for Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 on 14 February. After which online registrations were started. March 6 was the last date to apply. Through this recruitment exam, a total of 1,056 vacancies will be filled. Out of which 40 vacancies are reserved for PwPD category candidates.
