Online applications for the second phase examination of Additional Private Secretary (APS)-2023 recruitment of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission have started from Thursday. The last date for application has been fixed as March 29. In the calendar of the Commission, the second phase examination is proposed from April 9, 2024. In case of any mistake in the application, the candidates will get a chance to make corrections once. Print of the online filled form set will have to be taken. The hardcopy of the application in print form along with all enclosures has to be made available to the Commission on or before April 5 by 5 pm through registered post or in person at the postal section (enquiry) counter.
Candidates have to complete the online application process on the Commission's website by March 29. A printout of the form filled online will have to be taken. PDF file of the format of caste certificate, EBWS certificate, certificate of dependents of Swatantrata Sangam fighter and disability certificate etc. is available on the website of the Commission. It may be noted that 5889 candidates were successful in the first phase examination. Advertisement was issued on 19 September 2023 for recruitment to 331 posts. A total of 1.25 lakh candidates had applied.

Questions of 100 marks will be asked in the second phase
The second phase exam of APS 2023 will be of 100 marks. Stenography (Hindi) will be of 75 marks and Computer Type test will be of 25 marks. For the shorthand skill and typing test, option of Mangal font will also be given along with Kruti Dev font. Time of one and a half hour has been fixed for this.
