JPSC PCS Prelims Exam: The Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) will be held tomorrow on 17th March. JPSC PCS Prelims first shift exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and second shift exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. On the day of examination, candidates will have to bring their original admit card along with four self-signed color copies of the photograph affixed in the application, one photo ID. Also, you will have to bring blue or black ball pen to fill OMR. DC said that candidates will not be allowed to carry any other electronic gadgets and devices including phones. Candidates will not be able to take any item to the examination hall except admit card, identity card, pen or pencil, mask, sanitizer. There should also be a provision for storing luggage for students coming from outside in every centre.
DC Madhavi Mishra reviewed the preparations for the proposed JPSC Civil Preliminary Competitive Examination in Dhanbad district on Sunday. The examination will be held in 65 centers of the district. A meeting regarding this was held in the New Town Hall. All the zonal magistrates, static magistrates, flying squad, police officers and center superintendents were present in it. In the meeting, DC said that the examination should be completely free from malpractices. Measures should be taken for this. The instructions issued by JPSC for the examination should be followed completely. JPSC has issued guidelines for every officer.
Inspect the centers before the exam
DC said that magistrates and flying squad members should inspect the centers before the examination. Keep location information also. Also get information about commuting routes. Get information about the facilities in the examination centres. Find out about the arrangements for electricity, water and lighting. There should also be alternative arrangements for electricity in every examination centre. DC also ordered the Center Superintendent to make special preparations in this regard. DC said that invigilators will also be prohibited from carrying mobile phones in the examination hall. SP (Rural) Kapil Chaudhary said that adequate number of police forces have been deputed on the day of the examination. Everyone should perform their responsibilities properly. Additional Collector Vinod Kumar and District Education Officer Nishu Kumari informed everyone about the guidelines of the examination.

DC said that more than 20 thousand students will appear in the examination. Most of the students are coming from outside. Parents will also come along with the students. The candidates will go to the centre. Due to this, the traffic system of the city may be affected. Traffic management should be done in advance so that the candidates do not face any problem. The responsibility for this was handed over to the Traffic DSP.
