Bihar Teacher News: The Education Department has ordered all the districts to terminate the services of all the teachers found guilty in the monitoring investigation. The department has expressed displeasure over the fact that till now the action to remove 815 such teachers from service is pending. Therefore, it has been asked to terminate the service of these teachers within 15 days and send its report to the department. Director of Primary Education Mithilesh Mishra has sent a letter to the district education officials regarding this. He has said that in the light of petition number 17115/2019, an FIR was registered against 2126 teachers found guilty in the surveillance investigation. The department had given instructions to terminate the services of all these teachers included in the FIR. According to the reports received from the districts regarding this, the services of only 1310 out of 2126 have been terminated by various planning units. The action of termination of service of remaining 815 is still pending.

Most teachers of Bhagalpur:
Of the 815 teachers whose services have been ordered to be terminated by the department, maximum 116 are from Bhagalpur district. Apart from this, maximum teachers include 84 from Jamui, 69 from Darbhanga, 55 from Samastipur, 51 from Gopalganj, 44 from Munger and 42 from Khagaria. Whereas, there are zero teachers in Buxar, Siwan, Saharsa, Katihar, Begusarai. Action was to be taken against 45 teachers in Patna, out of which case is pending against two.

BPSC third phase exam cancelled:
Let us tell you that the third phase examination (BPSC TRE-3) for teacher recruitment in Bihar has been canceled due to paper leak. This examination was held on 15 March 2024. EOU had informed about the paper leak before the commencement of the examination, after which the Commission and EOU came face to face regarding this. The Commission has now canceled the examination after receiving the report of EOU. Meanwhile, the investigation into the matter has been started by searching for the accused of EOU paper leak.
