SSC GD Constable answer key link: The answer key of SSC GD Constable recruitment exam has been released. You can check the answer key by visiting the official website of Staff Selection Commission, ssc.gov.in. Time has been given from April 3 to April 10 to lodge objections on the answer key. The answer key was to be released a few days ago but SSC had conducted the exam again on March 30 at some examination centres. Due to this there was a delay in the release of the answer key. Before March 30, SSC GD Constable Exam 2024 Tier-1 exam was conducted on February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 1, 5, 7. 26146 constable posts are to be recruited through SSC GD exam 2024. Of the total vacant posts, there are 6174 posts of BSF, 11025 of CISF, 3337 of CRPF, 635 of SSB, 3189 of ITBP, 1490 of Assam Rifles, 296 of SSF.
There are a total of 23347 posts for men and a total of 2799 for women. 9626 posts among men and 1183 posts among women are unreserved. Among men, 3334 posts are reserved for SC, 2354 ST, 4776 OBC, 3257 posts are reserved for EWS category. Whereas among women, 408 posts are reserved for SC, 248 posts for ST, 584 OBC, 376 for EWS.
46,47,646 candidates from across the country had applied for recruitment to 26,146 posts of SSC GD Constable. 15,20,063 candidates were to appear in the SSC GD Constable exam in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. 11,18,823 candidates were registered in UP and 4,01,240 candidates were registered in Bihar.
Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST). Those who pass PET PST will be called for medical and document verification. The final merit list will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. PET PST will be merely qualifying. Only passing in PET and PST will be required.
