CBSE Board 10th-12th Result No Toppers List: CBSE 10th-12th board exam results are going to be released soon after May 20. However, the board has made it clear that the list of toppers will not be released this year like the last several years. At the same time, the board has told the schools that if they wish, they can release the ranking of the students at their own level. Now it will depend on the schools whether they will release the list of toppers on the basis of top five or sixth subjects or not.
In the instructions sent to the schools, the board has said that subject wise marks of the students will be sent, on the basis of which schools can decide the performance of their students. During the examination itself, the board had said that it would not release the list of toppers, but now the schools have been told that they can release the ranks if they wish. The purpose of the board behind this is to reduce the result related stress on the students. Let us tell you that even during the Corona period, in the absence of written examination, the board did not release the list of toppers.
Top five subjects will depend on the institutions
CBSE teachers said that due to non-release of ranks, if a student has taken more than five subjects in the board examination, then the institute itself which is giving admission will decide on the admission of that student by determining the best five subjects. This means that considering the sixth subject as the basis of marks will depend on the nominating institution. There will be no compulsion from the board for this.
Schools should also not be put under pressure: Neeraj Sinha
Neeraj Sinha, treasurer of Ranchi Sahodaya Group and principal of Firayalal Public School, said that the board's decision of not releasing the list of toppers is better. Now schools should also reduce the pressure of rank on students. He said that this will reduce the pressure of students and parents. The second benefit will be that the pressure of increasing enrollment in schools will also reduce. There will be less competition for enrollment in big schools due to rank.
What will be the benefit of giving rank?
– Pressure from students and parents regarding ranks will reduce
– Pressure of enrollment in big schools will reduce
The board will also not consider the ranking of schools as a basis.
