Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the result of direct recruitment on 39 posts of Medical Officer Grade-2 (Level-2) under the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh (Allopathy) on Thursday. 87 percent posts remained vacant. Out of these, Sarvesh Kumar Chaudhary, Atul Kumar Pandey, Arpit Agarwal and Nagendra Pratap Verma have been declared selected for four posts. According to the information issued by Vinod Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary of the Commission, due to non-availability of candidates, six posts of unreserved category, five of OBC, three of SC and one post of EWS category remained vacant.
At the same time, out of 20 posts of Medical Officer Nephrologist (nine posts of reserved category, five posts of Other Backward Class, four posts of Scheduled Caste and two posts of Economically Weaker Section), Lakshya Kumar has been declared selected on only one reserved post. Due to non-availability of candidates, 19 posts remained vacant. The Commission has recommended re-advertisement of the vacant posts.
