CUET Exam 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has termed the news of paper leak during CUET UG Exam 2024 as false. However, wrong question papers were given at an examination center in Kanpur. The examination of 220 affected students will be re-conducted on May 29. CUET UG exam for Delhi exam centers will also be conducted on 29th May.
There were rumors of paper leak at an examination center in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. But the National Testing Agency (NTA) says that it was a case of wrong question paper distribution. According to the NTA official, English question paper was given to Hindi medium students by mistake at the Kanpur centre. No paper was leaked. Re-examination will be conducted on May 29 for more than 220 affected students. After being postponed on May 15, NTA will conduct CUET UG Exam on May 29 in the examination centers of Delhi.
Exams are being conducted in hybrid mode
The third edition of CUET, the country's biggest examination, is being conducted in hybrid mode for the first time. The examination was scheduled on May 15 for four subjects Chemistry, Biology, English and General Examination. Offline tests will be conducted between May 15 and May 19, followed by Computer Based Test (CBT) for other subjects between May 21 and May 24.
Wrong question papers were distributed in NEET exam also
A similar case had come to light recently. When in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate Examination (NEET UG Exam), English medium question paper was given to Hindi medium students at an examination center in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
