JOSAA counselling : JEE Advanced JoSAA Counselling Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is going to start the counselling process from June 9. In the first phase, counselling will be for IITs. Let us tell you that along with 9 IITs in the country, there are 16 NITs that have closed the branch upgradation options this year. Let us tell you that after the start of JoSAA counselling, students are busy choosing college options on the basis of JEE Main and Advanced ranks. The last date for choice filling is June 18. If experts are to be believed, along with 9 IITs, there are 16 NITs that have closed the branch upgradation options this year, these include IIT Mumbai, Madras, Kharagpur, Hyderabad, Jammu, Mandi, Bhubaneswar, Dharwad and IIT Dhanbad. This simply means that since the branch upgrade option has been closed in 9 IITs and 16 NITs, students will be able to keep only the branch of their interest in their preference list in these colleges.
Let us tell you that after JEE counselling, students will get admission in 23 IITs and 31 NITs, IISC Shivpur, 26 Triple ITs, 38 GFTIs.
