Cyber fraudsters have started targeting students who have applied online for scrutiny of their answer sheets in UP Board's high school and intermediate exams. Cyber fraudsters are calling such students by luring them to increase their marks and make them pass from failing. For this, attempts are being made to cheat the candidates and their parents by demanding money from them. On receiving the complaint, UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla has advised the candidates and their parents not to fall into the trap of such cyber fraudsters.
While alerting the general public about such incidents, the Secretary has appealed to the students and their parents not to pay heed to the phone calls of cyber fraudsters and not to fall prey to temptation. On receiving such phone calls, immediately inform the District School Inspector of your district so that an FIR can be lodged against the fraudsters. Earlier, even before the declaration of the board exam results on 20 April, fraudsters had tried to cheat the students by calling them.
