Those who apply first in NEET will have benefit in admission
NTA has also changed the tie breaking policy along with the NEET result. If two or more students get the same marks in the exam, who will be placed higher in the merit is decided by the tie breaking policy. In the notification, NTA had mentioned 7 rules in the tie breaking policy but at the time of the result, NTA has mentioned 8 rules. Candidates are angry due to the addition of a new provision of application number in the 8th rule. The student who filled the application form first has been allotted the counseling rank first. The one who filled the form first will benefit in the race for MBBS, BDS admission. Candidates say that NTA did not include the 8th rule in its NEET Information Bulletin. If they had known about it earlier, they would have applied first.
