After the cancellation of UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam on 17th and 18th February due to paper leak, the date of re-examination has also been announced but the honorarium has not been paid to about three thousand teachers of Prayagraj who did duty in the examination. In the examination held in Prayagraj, 2994 teachers were put on duty for room inspection. Teachers were to be paid Rs 300 for each shift. If a teacher did duty in all four shifts, he was to get Rs 1200. But despite more than five months having passed, the teachers have not received their honorarium.
However, the money for the RO/ARO preliminary examination of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission which was cancelled due to paper leak and the duty for the general election held after that has been received. When inquiring from the officials regarding the payment of honorarium for constable recruitment, no clear answer is received.
Constable recruitment exam will be held on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August
The constable recruitment exam will be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August. Earlier this exam was cancelled due to paper leak. Candidates appearing in the exam will get the facility of free travel in roadways buses.
After the paper leak case came to light, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cancelled the exam and ordered to conduct the exam again within six months while keeping in mind the highest standards of purity and transparency.
In order to conduct the selection process in a transparent and fair manner, the state government had issued detailed guidelines on June 19 regarding various arrangements related to the examination such as preparation for the examination, selection of examination centers, verification of the candidates and preventing solvers from sitting. The examination will be conducted according to all these standards. A break has been given in the examination due to Janmashtami festival. The examination will be held in two shifts on all the announced dates, in which about five lakh candidates will participate.
Travel in roadways bus will be completely free for the candidates. Candidates have been asked to download two extra copies of their admit card from the website of Police Recruitment Board. One copy of it will have to be presented to the bus conductor for travelling to the district of the examination centre and the other copy for travelling to your district after the examination. On the basis of this admit card, travel in roadways bus will be completely free.
