The placement of MNNIT has been excellent. Its example was seen in the placement of 2023-24. In this, 92.3 percent of the students of the institute have got jobs in different companies of the country and abroad. Rutvik Manyam of Computer Science has got the highest package of Rs 1.35 crore and placement in A10 Network Company of America. It is also claimed that the average package of the institute is Rs 17 lakh per annum. This is more than all NITs. Eight students have got jobs on a package of Rs 80 lakh.
The director told that the highest package received was 33.85 lakhs per annum for MTech, 13.58 lakhs for MBA, 20.8 lakhs for MSc and 44 lakhs for MCA. The average package was 20.34 lakhs per annum for BTech, 11.9 lakhs for MTech, 8.68 lakhs for MBA, 9.97 lakhs for MSc and 14.28 lakhs per annum for MCA. Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, DE Shaw, Palo Alto Networks, CRED, Expedia, Salesforce, Amazon, Visa, C-Dot, BPCL, BEL, Qualcomm, HPCL, Bajaj Auto and ICICI Bank participated in the placement.
Two new B.Tech courses started in MNNIT
MNNIT Director Prof. RS Verma said that for the first time from the current session, the study of Engineering and Computational Mechanics and Materials Engineering started. 16 MoUs have been signed with academic institutions and industry institutions. In the year 2023, the institute has appointed 142 teachers in two phases. Multi-storey faculty residences (48 numbers) with all the necessary infrastructure have been completed at a project cost of Rs 30.06 crore. Construction of a new academic block is underway. An underpass is being built to connect the boys' hostel. The institute has received 27 new patents. Application has been made for 13 new patents. National Education Policy has been implemented in all B.Tech courses. Along with this, students have been given the option of minor and major.
