Teachers appointed by BPSC from outside the state are being searched for. An order was given to verify the list of teachers in the district who are from outside the state, along with their certificates. This is the case of teachers appointed in the first and second phase of BPSC. Candidates from outside the state were not to get the benefit of any kind of reservation in marks. After the cases of taking relaxation in marks in various districts came to light, the records of teachers from outside the state are being scrutinized in all districts including Muzaffarpur. All BEOs were ordered to verify the certificates of such teachers. Till now, the list has not been received in the district. A three-day ultimatum has been given to all BEOs.
A dozen candidates were removed during counseling
DPO Establishment Nasir Hussain said that in both the phases of appointment, orders were given to provide the folder of teachers from other states posted in the district. As per the instructions of the department, the certificates of those teachers posted in various schools of the district who are residents of other states are to be reviewed so that it can be ascertained whether they have taken advantage of reservation despite the ban of the department. The DPO said that at the time of counseling more than a dozen such candidates of the district were removed.
