Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) Tier-1 exam. Candidates can download them by visiting their regional SSC websites. SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be held between 9 September and 26 September. Online applications were accepted from 24 June to 27 July for recruitment to 17,727 CGL posts. Through this exam, selection will be done for Group B and C posts in central government departments. About 30 lakh youth from all over the country have applied for this recruitment.
8.81 lakh candidates in UP and Bihar
It will be conducted in three shifts in 18 districts of UP and Bihar. 8,81,582 candidates are registered for the Tier-1 computer based exam at 89 centers in both the states. 61 exam centers are in Uttar Pradesh. 6,16,306 candidates will appear here. Whereas 2,65,276 candidates will appear for the exam at 28 centers in Bihar.
According to the information released by SSC, 1,72,350 candidates will appear in 17 centres in Patna, 89,496 in 10 centres in Prayagraj, 1,19,200 in 10 centres in Kanpur, 1,16,028 in 11 centres in Lucknow, 1,00,939 in 9 centres in Varanasi, 51,600 in 7 centres in Agra, 7122 in Aligarh, 8100 in Ara, 7872 in Darbhanga and 5400 candidates will appear in Moradabad. 34692 candidates are registered in Bareilly, 23040 in Gorakhpur, 23760 candidates in Muzaffarpur, 22,320 in Bhagalpur, 12240 in Gaya, 19469 in Jhansi and 33,120 candidates are registered in Meerut.
