NEET counselling first seat allotment result will be declared today, see document list, career news


MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: MCC i.e. Medical Counselling Committee will release the first seat allotment result of NEET UG counselling today on 23 August. The seat locking process for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing courses ended on 21 August at mcc.nic.in. MCC had extended the last date for choice filling and seat locking from 20 August to 21 August. After the seat allotment result tomorrow, candidates will have to report to the allotted medical colleges between August 24 and August 29. Verification of the data of the candidates of August 30 and August 31 will be done.

MCC counselling will provide admission to 15% of All India Quota seats in government colleges and 100% seats in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutions, AIIMS, JIPMER. The remaining 85% seats will be filled through state level counselling. The counselling process is being conducted for 1.10 lakh MBBS seats and 27,868 BDS seats in 710 medical colleges. Apart from this, admission will also be given to about 1,000 BSc Nursing seats. Many seats will be allotted in AYUSH and veterinary programmes in the country.

There will be a total of four rounds of NEET counselling – Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Stray Vacancy Round. The entire admission process is to be completed by 30 October 2024. The second round of NEET UG counselling will be held from September 5 to September 10. Seat allotment and verification will be held on September 11-12.

MCC has asked students to download the 'Sandes' app for counselling updates.
