High Court Peon Vacancy: Government job notification has been issued for recruitment to peon posts. This notification has been issued by Punjab and Haryana High Court. Number of posts –

Through this recruitment process, candidates will be recruited for a total of 300 Peon posts. Out of which 243 posts are for the General category. 30 posts are reserved for SC/ST/BC category candidates and 15 posts are reserved for ex-servicemen. Apart from this, 6 posts are reserved for PWD candidates.

Age Limit-

The minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 35 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated as on September 20, 2024. Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be provided to the candidates of reserved category.

Qualification of the candidate-

The candidate must have passed 12th (10+2) from a recognized board. Please note that candidates with higher qualifications cannot apply for these posts.

Application fee-

General category and SC/ST/BC category candidates from other states will have to pay an application fee of Rs 700. SC/ST/BC category candidates from Haryana and Punjab will have to pay a fee of Rs 600. Ex-servicemen and PWD candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600.

Candidates will be selected through written examination, physical efficiency test, document verification and medical examination. A total of 100 questions will be asked from the candidates in the written examination. In the examination, candidates will be asked questions from current affairs, general knowledge, general awareness, numerical ability. The medium of language of the question paper will be Hindi, English and Punjabi.
