The six-stage written exam for recruitment to 21391 posts of constable in Bihar Police was completed on Wednesday. Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has informed that 1787520 candidates had registered to appear in the exam, out of which 1438154 candidates had downloaded the e-admit card. Out of these, 67 percent candidates appeared in the exam. In all the six stages, 59 candidates were caught on charges of carrying Bluetooth devices, appearing in the exam in place of others, etc. Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam was held on 7, 11, 18, 21, 25 and 28 August. Students who came out after giving the exam on the last day said that the questions in science were more and difficult. Therefore, there was difficulty in solving it. 100 questions were asked in the exam. Akash from Siwan said that there were 27 questions in science. Questions were also asked from GK and current affairs. GK was asked that where does the Tropic of Cancer pass through? When is World Sports Day? Which award has Bihar received recently? Now the candidates are waiting for the answer key (CSBC Bihar Police Constable Exam Answer Key) which will be released soon.

Minimum Marks Criteria

Candidates securing less than 30 per cent marks in the written examination will be declared unsuccessful for the physical efficiency test. This means that securing at least 30 per cent marks is mandatory to advance to the next physical test stage. Only those who qualify the written examination will be called for the next stage, i.e., physical test. The final merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in running, high jump and shot put in the physical efficiency test. The marks of the written examination will not be added to the final merit list. The written examination will be merely qualifying in nature. Only those candidates who qualify in this will be able to enter the next stage, physical test (physical efficiency test).

– On the basis of marks obtained in the written examination, 5 times the number of candidates selected for each category as per reservation of vacancies will be called for physical test.

– 2nd stage of selection process – Rules for physical test

Second Stage – 'Physical Efficiency/Proficiency Test' – will carry a total of 100 marks.

(P) Race – Maximum 50 marks.

All categories of men can run 1 mile (1.6 km) in 6 minutes max,

Less than 5 minutes – 50 marks

5 minutes to 5 minutes 20 seconds – 40 marks

More than 5 minutes 20 seconds and up to 5 minutes 40 seconds – 30 marks

More than 5 minutes 40 seconds and up to 6 minutes – 20 marks

Male candidates taking more than 6 minutes will be declared unsuccessful.

For all categories of women – 1 km in maximum 5 minutes,

Less than 4 minutes – 50 marks

4 minutes 20 seconds – 40 marks

Upto 4 minutes 40 seconds – 30 marks

More than 4 minutes 40 seconds and up to 5 minutes – 20 marks

Female candidates taking more than 5 minutes will be declared unsuccessful.

Shot Put – Maximum 25 points

For all categories of men – 16 lbs shot put must be thrown a minimum distance of 16 (sixteen) feet.

16 feet to 17 feet – 09 marks

More than 17 feet and upto 18 feet – 13 marks

More than 18 feet and upto 19 feet – 17 marks

More than 19 feet and up to 20 feet – 21 marks

More than 20 feet – 25 points

Male candidates who throw less than 16 feet will be declared unsuccessful.

For all categories of women – 12 pound ball must be thrown a minimum of 12 feet.

12 feet to 13 feet – 09 marks

More than 13 feet and up to 14 feet – 13 marks

More than 14 feet and up to 15 feet – 17 marks

More than 15 feet and up to 16 feet – 21 points

More than 16 feet – 25 points

Female candidates who throw less than 12 feet will be declared unsuccessful.

High Jump- Maximum 25 points.

For all categories of men – Minimum height 4 (four) feet

04 feet – 13 points

04 feet 4 inches – 17 points

04 feet 8 inches – 21 points

05 Feet – 25 Points

Male candidates jumping less than 04 feet will be declared unsuccessful.

For all categories of females – – Minimum height 3 (three) feet

03 Feet – 13 points

03 feet 4 inches – 17 points

03 feet 8 inches – 21 points

04 Feet – 25 Points
