83 students will get admission in MBBS at Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College (SNMMC) in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the first round seat allotment list. The cutoff for 33 seats in the unreserved category is 659 marks in NEET UG. Candidates scoring from 664 marks (16375 rank) to 659 (19963 rank) have got the chance for admission. Admission of students selected in the first round seat allotment in MBBS has started from today, Friday. The last date for admission is 5 September.
The total number of seats in MBBS course in SNMMC is 100. Out of these, 83 are from State, 15 from All India quota and two from Central Nominee quota.
Talking about EWS quota, EWS students with up to 651 marks are getting admission in the first selection list. At the last position i.e. 83rd position, students of BC Two Blind category are there. Students with 168 marks and up to 1129223 rank have got place. Experts say that the cutoff of ST category is 415 marks. Students with 415 marks have been allotted a seat for admission in SNMMC. The cutoff for SC is 550 marks.

If seats remain vacant then the second selection list will be released on 20th
If seats remain vacant even after the seats are allotted in the first round, then the state merit list for the second round will be released on September 10. The list of vacant seats will be released on September 11. The choice filling process will start from September 11 itself. The second selection will be released on September 20. Admission can be taken from September 21 to 26.
