SSC GD Constable Bharti: A major change has been made in the rules of SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024. Now the physical standard test, physical efficiency test, document verification, detailed medical examination and review medical examination (PET, PST, DV, Medical) of the candidates will be conducted simultaneously. Earlier these were separate. After passing the physical test, one had to wait a long time for document verification. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Central Government has taken this decision to reduce the duration of the recruitment cycle and expedite the recruitment process.
The result of the written examination of SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 was released in the month of July. A total of 351176 candidates have been qualified for the physical test. Among men, 308076 candidates have qualified for the physical test while among women, 38328 candidates have qualified for the physical test. Among the successful male candidates, there are 26507 candidates from EWS category, 47697 from ST category, 31981 from OBC category and 2285 from ESM category. 131875 candidates are from the unreserved category. Among the successful female candidates, there are 3096 candidates from EWS category, 5984 from SC category, 3696 from ST category, 8410 from OBC category and 4 from ESM category. 17138 candidates are from unreserved category.
Let us tell you that 46617 posts are to be filled through the SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam. Recruitment will be done for 12076 posts of BSF, 13632 of CISF, 9410 of CRPF, 1926 of SSB, 6287 of ITBP, 2990 of Assam Rifles and 296 vacancies of SSF. There are a total of 41467 posts for men and a total of 5150 for women.

Physical Efficiency Test (PST) Rules
Length
Male Candidate – 170 Cm.
Female Candidate – 157 Cm.
Chest- Male candidates – 80 cms. (Inflated – 85 cms)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Male candidates will have to run 5 km in 24 minutes. Female candidates will also have to run 1.6 km in 8 and a half minutes.
