Uttarakhand Board of School Education has invited applications for the entrance examination 2022-23 for the training of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Candidates can apply online on the board's website from 5 September to 28 September 2024. The D.El.Ed session is lagging behind due to no admission during the Corona period. Board Secretary VP Simalti said that the entrance examination for two-year D.El.Ed training will be held on 30 November 2024 from 10 am to 12:30 pm at various examination centers in the state. It is mandatory for the candidate to be a graduate for this training conducted in the District Education and Training Institutes. He said that application forms and fees will not be accepted after the last date 28 September 2024.
The exam fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs 600, for SC/ST candidates it is Rs 300 and for differently abled candidates it is Rs 150. Detailed instructions related to the exam are available on the Uttarakhand Board website.

Selection Process
The selection for the two-year D.El.Ed 2024 course will be based on their performance in the entrance examination.
Counselling: Candidates who qualify the entrance examination will be called to participate in the counselling process.
