CAT 2024 Registration: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has extended the last date for registration for CAT 2024. Now those candidates who could not register earlier can register themselves by visiting the official website iimcat.ac.in. The last date to apply is 20 September. So apply today. Earlier the last date to register was till 13 September. CAT 2024 exam will be conducted in November, 2024.

How to register for CAT 2024-

1. First of all you have to go to the official website iimcat.ac.in will go on.

2. After this you have to click on the “New Registration” link given on the home page.

3. Now you have to register by entering your details. After this, you have to fill the form by entering your CAT ID sent to the email.

4. After this you will have to fill your educational and personal information.

5. After this you will have to scan and upload your passport size photograph and signature.

6. Now you have to select your IIM Institute, Courses and Test City.

7. Now you deposit the application fee through online mode.

8. Now after checking your application form, submit it and download it.

Educational qualification

Candidates who wish to apply for CAT must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks is the minimum for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories). Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply.

Exam Pattern

The CAT exam will consist of three sections, (1) Data Interpretation, (2) Verbal and Reading Comprehension and (3) Quantitative Aptitude. The 2024 CAT question paper will have two types of questions, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Type-in-the-Answer (TITA), carrying a total of 198 marks.

For those pursuing Master of Business Administration (MBA), there are 21 IIMs and over 1,000 other MBA institutes that accept CAT scores. Non-IIM B-schools include FMS Delhi, SJMSoM IIT Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, DoMS IIT Delhi and SPJIMR Mumbai.
