New seat matrix released for round-2 in Rajasthan, 2356 MBBS seats vacant, 377 seats in NRI quota, Career News


Rajasthan's NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission Counseling Board has released the revised seat matrix for the second round of admission in MBBS and BDS. According to the seat matrix, 2356 MBBS seats are available for admission in round-2 counseling. Out of these, 377 seats are from NRI quota. There are 716 BDS seats in the state for round 2. Let us tell you that this is the fourth time that the revised seat matrix has been released. Earlier, it has been released on 8 September, 15 September, 23 September. Each time, MBBS seats have increased.

According to the new seat matrix, there are 601 government MBBS seats. The number of private MBBS seats is 891. 487 management quota seats are still vacant in government medical colleges. The second round seat allotment result will be released tomorrow on 27 September. Candidates will be able to download their Rajasthan NEET UG 2024 seat allotment letter from 28 September to 5 October.

Let us tell you that Rajasthan NEET UG counseling will be held in four rounds – first round, second round, mop up round and stray vacancy round. If seats remain vacant even after these rounds, then the board can decide to conduct further admission rounds.

Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Candidates who appeared in Round 1 and filled options for upgradation but are allotted the same college, seat type and category in Round 2 need not report again for the same college. If the college allotted in Round 2 is the same but the allotted seat type or allotted category changes, the candidate needs to report again.
