More than one third of candidates leave UP PCS pre exam, see details, career news

More than one-third of the candidates leave Uttar Pradesh's most prestigious Combined State Selective Subordinate Services (PCS) preliminary examination every year. At a time when due to strict rules to prevent paper leaks, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is considering holding the preliminary examination of 5,76,154 candidates who have applied for PCS 2024 for two days, if only the actual candidates appearing in the examination. If we apply, perhaps this big problem can be solved automatically to some extent.

If this happens, the Commission will be successful in conducting more transparent examinations with less resources and less expense. Keeping in mind the concept of welfare state, the Commission has kept the application fee maximum at Rs 225. The result of this is that a large number of candidates apply who are not very serious about the examination. As a result, not thousands but lakhs of candidates remain absent on the day of examination.
