If you have the will and determination to do something, you just have to believe in yourself, and your path to success becomes clear. This does not mean that it will be easy. Such is the story of IAS Pallavi Mishra, who started out as a law student and then became a singer, before cracking the UPSC exam. Pallavi Mishra is a resident of Bhopal, who completed her schooling from the state. After that, she did her graduation in Law from the National Law University in Delhi. She was a lover of music, so she decided to pursue her Masters in music and received training in classical singing. During her childhood, she was taught music by the late Pandit Siddharama Swami Korwar.
She is the daughter of Ajay Mishra, who is a senior advocate, while her mother Dr Renu Mishra is a senior scientist. Pallavi has an elder brother, IPS Aditya Mishra, currently posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Indore. She credited her family and especially her brother, for the success she has achieved.
As per reports, Pallavi Mishra failed in her first attempt at the UPSC examination. However, this did not deter her from the goals she had set for herself, and she tried again, next year. After failing to qualify the Mains exam, she understood her mistakes and started working on them while preparing for her second attempt. During the preparation, she extensively focused on her essay writing and kept practicing. So, relying on herself and her studies, Pallavi cracked the UPSC exam, securing the All India Rank 73, in 2022.
Pallavi has an impressive following on Instagram, where she boasts a number of over 60,000 followers. Currently, she is posted as the Assistant Collector in North Goa. The reports add that she wants to bring a change though her service, which includes the issues of climate change.
