Aadhaar verification is mandatory in all railway recruitments including RPF SI, constable, ALP, forms will have to be reopened, career news

It will now be mandatory for candidates appearing for Railway Recruitment Board exams to get their Aadhaar verification done. Candidates will have to prove their identity through Aadhaar verification while applying for any post. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notice in this regard on its official websites. Railways has said that candidates who have used documents other than Aadhaar card (such as driving license, passport, PAN card, voter card etc.) in the application for all the recruitments this year, will have to complete their Aadhaar verification. This means that applicants of Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, JE, Paramedical, RPF Constable and SI recruitment who have used documents other than Aadhaar card at the time of application, will have to go to rrbapply.gov.in and log in and complete Aadhaar verification.

The board said in the notice, 'Applicants/candidates are advised to authenticate their identity through Aadhaar verification while applying for various Centralised Employment Notifications (CEN) issued by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Submission of RRB application through Aadhaar verification mode will make it easier for the applicants to enter the examination centres and will also simplify the post-examination process.'

2. In the second point of the notice, RRB said, 'Applicants/candidates who have already submitted their applications for CEN issued by RRB during 2024 using documents other than Aadhaar (such as Driving License, Passport, PAN, Voter ID etc.) can complete Aadhaar verification by logging in with their user credentials at www.rrbapply.gov.in. This Aadhaar verification is a one-time process and will be automatically valid for all current and future job notifications and applications.'

3. Railway Recruitment Boards will neither save or share Aadhaar details with any third party nor use them for any purpose other than the purposes of the respective CEN.
