TOP UK University List: Times Higher Education (THE) has released the World University Rankings 2025. Once again, for the ninth time, Oxford University of UK has topped the ranking list. Oxford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University have taken the top three positions among more than 2,000 institutions from 115 countries and territories, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025.

According to Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025, the names of UK top 7 universities are-

1. University of Oxford- According to the official website, Oxford University is the oldest English-speaking university. It was established in the year 1096. The University of Oxford is an independent and self-governing institution. It has been considered the world's top university.

2. University of Cambridge- It was established in the year 1209. According to the official website, it is the fourth oldest university in the world.

3. Imperial College of London- It was established in 1907. This college has produced 14 Nobel Prize winners and 3 Field Medalists.

4. UCL- It was established in 1826. It has more than 16,000 staff and 50 thousand students from more than 150 countries.

5. University of Edinburgh- This university was established in 1583. From Nobel laureates and Olympic champions to space explorers and Prime Ministers, this university has awarded degrees to everyone.

6. King's College London- It was established in 1863. It is one of the oldest universities in London. Its alumni include British sprinter and world record holder Dinah Asher-Smith, biophysicist Dr Rosalind Franklin and renowned children's author Sir Michael Morpurgo.
