There are plans to start BBA and BCA courses in AKTU. Preparations are on to take admission on 60-60 seats in both the programmes. Similarly, the proposed dates for registration and counseling have been decided in the admission committee meeting. Special round of counseling will also be conducted to fill the vacant seats of private colleges along with government colleges. Presently MBA and B.Pharma studies are being conducted in AKTU campus. M.Tech classes are conducted at the Center for Advanced Studies (CAS). At the same time, now there are preparations to start BBA and BCA courses from session 2024-25. 60-60 seats have been kept in both the courses. On which admission is expected to start from the month of July. Obviously, the All India Council for Technical Education has now taken up the responsibility of upgradation of these undergraduate level courses and the colleges running them. Now AICTE will decide the curriculum and syllabus.
Preparation to start the registration process from June 15
Preparations are on to start the registration process from June 15 for admission in technical colleges affiliated to AKTU for the session 2024-25. Counseling will be finished by August 8. So that the first semester graduation classes can start from August 16. These proposals were approved in the meeting of the Central Admission Board (CAB).
Feedback sought from colleges
This time a new system has been started in AKTU. The counseling schedule was prepared in the CAB meeting. Which has been sent for the first time to take feedback from colleges. The final date of counseling will be released after incorporating the suggestions of the colleges.
Counseling also on vacant seats of private colleges
This time AKTU has decided to conduct a special round of counseling on the vacant seats of government colleges as well as private institutions. So that the vacant seats in different courses of colleges can also be filled.

Apart from B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma, this time there will be counseling for admission in BCA, BBA and BMS in AKTU affiliated colleges. Admission in B.Tech will be done through JEE Main, CUET (Common University Entrance Test), NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture). In this, colleges will be able to take admission only on 15 percent seats through management quota. Admission to the remaining seats will be done through counselling. Vice Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey said that the complete schedule will be released on the university website in a week.
