16 students of institutions affiliated to AKTU have been selected in Shriram Transport Finance Company through campus placement. The company has selected the students after several rounds of process. In campus placement, 11 B.Tech and 5 MBA students have been selected for the post of Management Trainee. The selected ones have been given a package of Rs. 3 lakh 18 thousand per annum. Two MBA students have also been selected in campus placement.
UG-PG applications in LU till 30th
The application date for admission to UG and PG courses in Lucknow University has been extended. Candidates will now be able to apply till June 30. It is mandatory for the candidates to register for LURN before filling the form. Under the admission process for the academic session 2024-25 in LU, the date for application for BPEd, MPEd, MEd, Bachelor and Master in Library Science programs including undergraduate, graduate professional, postgraduate and postgraduate professional courses has been extended. Now candidates can apply till June 30. Earlier this date was fixed as 31 May. Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said that by visiting UG and PG Admission in the admission page of LU website www.lkouniv.ac.in, one can get all the information related to admission.
One subject will be selected from each group in BA NEP
There were 11 groups in BA NEP in LU before the session 2024-25. Now the groups have been reduced to eight. However, conditions have been kept in selecting the subjects. Only one subject can be selected from each group. The subject allotted as major cannot be taken as minor. Minor subjects cannot be taken from the group from which major subjects have been taken. Statistics subject will be taken as minor only if the candidate has taken Mathematics as a major.
