Online applications have started for admission in LLB and other PG courses in the academic session 2024-25 of Allahabad University. The last date for application is June 5. Questions will be asked in three sections in the LLB entrance exam. Each section will have fifty questions each. 50 questions will be asked from Legal Aptitude and Reasoning. In this, 25-25 questions of Legal Aptitude and Reasoning will be of 100 marks. In the first section, 25-25 questions will be asked from General Hindi and General English subjects. In the second section, there will be 50 questions of General Studies and in the third section, 25 questions of Logic and Mental Ability, while there will be 25 questions of Legal Aptitude. All questions will be of two marks each and multiple choice. There will be an entrance exam of 300 marks in two hours.
4963 filled the form for LLB
Till Saturday evening, 33655 candidates have registered while 15421 have finally submitted their forms. Out of these, 9633 candidates have registered for admission in LLB. Whereas, 4963 have finally submitted their forms.
CUET university registration from next week:
Admission to undergraduate and professional courses in Allahabad University and affiliated colleges will be through Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Allahabad University will soon start registration for candidates appearing in CUET. The admission cell has made preparations for this. If sources are to be believed, registration is set to begin from next week. Students who have not filled the option of Allahabad University in the CUET application can also register. They will also be given admission on the score card of CUET. This year Allahabad University is preparing to conduct admission and counseling on Samarth Portal. According to sources, the university administration will hand over the data of students to Samarth Admission Portal. Admissions will be done through Samarth Portal in two phases. In the first phase, admissions to undergraduate courses will be taken on Samarth Admission Portal. If everything goes well, admissions to postgraduate courses will also be taken through Samarth Portal.
Admission in these courses will be done through CUET
Allahabad University will have admission in BA, BSc, BCom, Family and Community Science, BA LLB. At the same time, admission will also be done through CUET in about a dozen graduate professional courses run under the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS). Admission will be done on about 17000 seats in Allahabad University and colleges.
