More than three lakh students have failed in the matriculation examination but there are 6765 such schools in the state where the result is 100%. Not a single student of these schools failed. About eight lakh 60 thousand students are included in this. 80 percent students got more than 90 percent marks: All passed the matriculation examination, while there are 2564 such schools in the state, where 80 percent students got more than 90 percent marks. This time, more than 16 lakh 64 thousand students from a total of 9276 schools appeared in the matriculation examination. The number of schools in districts like Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Gopalganj, Rohtas, Madhubani, Saharsa, Madhepura, Siwan, East Champaran etc. giving 100% results is more. If board sources are to be believed, this time the number of schools giving 100% results has increased by 25%. In most of the schools, there are students scoring 50 to 70 marks, while up to 30 percent students have also got third position.

This time the results have been better than in the last several years, while the number of students passing in first division has increased, the number of students failing has decreased. The result has improved due to positive changes in the question paper by Bihar Board. Grants to schools based on results
The benefit of giving 100% results will be to those schools to which the government gives grants on the basis of results. In this, grants are given on the basis of the number of students securing first, second and third positions.
