Many teachers who are evaluating the copies of high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board are getting strange answers to the questions. Although the UP Board has banned taking smart phones to the evaluation centres, but some confusing answers on the copies are reaching out. When he could not find the answer to the questions in the Intermediate Chemistry question paper, a student wrote the story of King Dashrath and the queens.
When the student started the story on the notebook with the three queens, he wrote the story till the breaking of Lord Shri Ram's bow. Similarly, a nonsensical answer has been written in response to another question. In response to the question related to diseases caused by different types of vitamins, the student has written that vitamins A, C, D, E and K can cause stomach ache, worms or headache. The student poured out his pain on one copy. It is written – 'Sir, I don't know anything in science class. I myself know that nothing worth passing has been written. But I am praying to you with folded hands that if you pass me then I will be able to join the Indian Army. I am expecting enough marks from you to pass and nothing more. Sir please pass me. Sir, I swear I am telling the truth, I am very poor, please pass me.
Teachers boycotted evaluation
On Saturday, on the call of teachers' organizations in connection with the murder of Dharmendra Kumar, teacher of Government High School, Mahanav, Varanasi, teachers did not check the high school and intermediate copies at many evaluation centers in the state. The agitating teacher demanded compensation of Rs 2 crore to the dependents of deceased teacher Dharmendra Kumar, a case against the accused constable in the fast track court and strict punishment in a time bound manner, full salary till the remaining service as pension to the wife of the deceased teacher and the name of Government High School Manghav Varanasi. They are demanding to do it in the name of Dharmendra Kumar. Teacher leaders said that the boycott of evaluation will continue until their demands are met. State President of Government Teachers Association Pandey faction Rameshwar Pandey, General Secretary of BP Singh faction Ravi Bhushan, State General Secretary of Secondary Teachers Association Thakurai faction Lalmani Dwivedi, Patron of United Dr. Hari Prakash Yadav etc. visited all the evaluation centers in Prayagraj and sought cooperation.
21.51 lakh copies checked in one day
Evaluation of 21,51,349 copies of class 10th-12th was done on Saturday amid protests by teachers. According to Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla, evaluation was affected at 17 out of 259 centers and copies were checked at 242 centres. Till now, 83.46 percent copies of total 2 crore 85 lakh answer sheets have been evaluated.
