RRB Railway NTPC Recruitment 2024: The process of online application for NTPC Graduate Level Recruitment of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started. The application link has opened on RRB website www.rrbapply.gov.in. The last date of application is 13 October 2024. 8113 vacancies have been released in the Non Technical Popular Category (NTPC) recruitment of Railways released after five years. The vacant posts include Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Station Master. On Friday, a detailed notification of recruitment was released on the websites of all RRBs, which made all the information including CBT and exam pattern clear. Applications for recruitment to 3445 posts of NTPC undergraduate level will start from September 21.

Goods Train Manager – 3144 Posts

Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor – 1736 Posts

Senior Clerk cum Typist – 732 Posts

what will be the eligibility

Educational Qualification (all above posts): Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized University/Institute.

Age Limit

Due to the corona epidemic, candidates will get a relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit. Therefore, the age limit in graduate level recruitment has been kept at 18-36 years. SC and ST categories will get a relaxation of five years and OBC will get a relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit. Age will be calculated from 01 January 2025.

Unreserved category candidates should not be born before 02.01.1989.

OBC (NCL) candidate should not be born before 02.01.1986.

SC/ST candidates should not be born before 02.01.1984.

Application fee – Rs 500. Rs 400 will be refunded to those who appear in the CBT 1 exam.

SC, ST, Women, EBC, Divyang – Rs 250. Whoever takes part in the CBT 1 exam, his entire Rs 250 will be refunded.

Online payment of fees can be made till 23.59 hrs on 15.10.2024, provided the candidates register successfully by 23:59 hrs on 13.10.2024. After making the payment, these candidates have to submit their final application on or before 23:59 hrs on 15.10.2024.

Selection Process:

– There will be CBT in 2 stages (CBT 1 & CBT 2) for all the posts.

– After this there will be Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) / Typing Skill Test as per the post.

-There will be a computer based aptitude test for the post of Station Master.

– There will be typing skill test for Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist.

– There will be two-stage CBT for Goods Train Manager and Senior Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor. After that there will be document verification and medical test.

– There will be negative marking of one-third marks for each wrong answer in CBT.

-RRB wise shortlisting of candidates for 2nd stage CBT will be done at the rate of 15 times the number of vacancies.

– First stage CBT will be common for all the posts. There will be 100 questions in the 90 minutes CBT. 40 questions will be of General Awareness, 30 of Maths, 30 of General Intelligence and Reasoning.

– Normalized scores of 1st Stage CBT will be used to shortlist candidates for 2nd Stage CBT.

– Second stage CBT will also be common for all posts. The second stage CBT will have a paper of 90 minutes. There will be 120 questions in CBT. 50 questions will be of General Awareness, 35 of Maths, 35 questions of General Intelligence and Reasoning.
