BCECEB ITI CAT: The date for filling the form for enrollment in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) has been released on Sunday. According to Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), the application process for enrollment on 32,772 seats of more than 111 ITIs in the state has started from April 7. The last date to fill the form is May 5.
At the same time, the last date for depositing online fees is May 6. Corrections can be made in the application form from May 8 to 11. Admit card will be released on 28th May. ITI Competitive Entrance Examination (ITI CAT) is on June 9. Candidates wishing to take admission in ITI can download the prospectus by visiting the website of BCECE. The application will be completed in seven stages.
General candidates will have to pay Rs 750, SC, ST will have to pay Rs 100 and disabled students will have to pay Rs 430. BCECEB has said that candidates from all the districts of the state are eligible for enrollment on 25 percent of the total seats in Government Industrial Training Institutes under the state.
How many seats in which category?
Out of total 32,772 seats in ITI, there are 8193 General seats, 5649 SC seats, 659 ST seats, 8193 EBC seats, 5906 BC seats and 3272 EWS seats. 1491 seats of SMQ and 1632 seats of DQ are included in this. BCECEB has said that the application will be filled online only. Age limit is minimum 14 years till 1st August 2024, but for Mechanic Motor Vehicle and Mechanic Tractor the minimum age required on the said date is 17 years.
