JNVST Admission 2025: The application process for the entrance test for admission in class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has started. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is accepting the application form through online mode. To get admission, students will have to take the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST 2025), which will be conducted for admission in class 6 in 650 Navodaya Vidyalayas. Eligible and interested candidates have to apply by visiting the official website navodaya.gov.in.

The last date to apply is 16 September, candidates and their parents must read these 10 important points before filling the application form-

1. Before submitting the application form, candidates have to upload the following required documents- Photograph, Signature of Guardian and Candidate, Aadhar Card Details/Residence Certificate and Certificate verified by Head Master.

2. The information given by the parent in the application form will be verified by the head master of the school where the student has studied up to class V. The document to be uploaded should be in JPG format and its size should be between 10-100 KB.

3. A candidate who is currently studying in class 5 in a district is allowed to apply for admission in JNV in the same district only.

4. Candidate should not have been born before 1st May, 2013 and after 31st July, 2015 (both dates inclusive).

5. The entrance test will be conducted in two phases. The first phase exam will be held on January 18, 2025. The second phase exam will be held on April 12, 2025.

6. The places where the examination will be conducted in the first phase include Jammu & Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II and Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Dibang Valley and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling district of West Bengal and Leh and Kargil districts of Union Territory of Ladakh.

7. The second phase of the examination will be held in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley and Tawang districts) Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla districts) Jammu and Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II and Samba) Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal (except Darjeeling) Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep and Puducherry.

8. Candidates will be given 2 hours for the selection entrance test. The exam timings for both the phases are from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

9. The entrance exam question paper will have three sections and will be objective type questions. Candidates will be asked 80 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. Candidates can visit the official website for more details.

10. The result of the selection test is likely to be released in March, 2025 for Summer JNV (Phase 2 exam) and in May, 2025 for Winter JNV (Phase 1 exam).
