Bihar CHO Recruitment 2024 : Bihar Health Society has issued a notification today on 19th June for the recruitment of 4500 Community Health Officer posts in the state. Interested and eligible candidates can check the necessary details on the official website of State Health Society shs.bihar.gov.in. and soon the candidates will be able to apply online. Let us tell you that the online application process for recruitment to the posts of this Community Health Officer will start on 1st July 2024 at 10:00 am. At the same time, the last date for filling the form has been fixed as 21st July 2024.
There will be recruitment for 4500 posts
According to the notification issued, a total of 4500 posts of Community Health Officer will be filled in Bihar. In which recruitment has been announced for 1345 posts in EBC category, 331 posts for EBC (women), 702 posts in BC category, 259 posts for BC (women), 1279 posts in SC category, 230 posts for SC (women), 95 posts in ST category, 36 posts for ST (women), 145 posts for EWS and 78 posts for EWS (women).
Selection Process: For recruitment to these posts, candidates will be interviewed and then they will be shortlisted. After the name appears in the shortlist, the document verification of the candidates will be done.
Application fee :
People belonging to General/OBC/EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 to fill the form. Whereas, SC/ST/PH category and females will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250.

Now start the registration process. Fill the form by filling the required details.
Upload the required documents and submit the form by clicking on the submit button.

Age Range : The age limit of candidates applying for the post of Community Health Officer has been fixed between 21 years to 47 years. Apart from this, people of reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit.
Salary : After selection, candidates will be given a salary of Rs 40,000 per month. In this, Rs 32000 will be fixed salary and Rs 8000 will be paid on the basis of performance.
