Bihar State: Bihar School Examination Board has released the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET)-2024 (First) examination schedule on Saturday. Chairman Anand Kishore said that the examination of various subjects of Paper-1 will be held from 18th to 29th May. Whereas the examination of various subjects of Paper-2 will be taken through computer based test at the designated examination centers in two shifts from June 11 to 20.
A total of 596931 candidates have applied online to appear in Paper-1 and Paper-2 of the eligibility test. The admit card of the candidates has been uploaded on the website of the committee. The admit card for Paper-2 will be uploaded in the first week of June. Applicants will be able to download the admit card by visiting the website bsebstet2024.com.
Have to reach one and a half hour before the start of the exam The examination will be held in two shifts daily. The first shift exam has been scheduled from 10 am to 1230 pm and the second shift exam has been scheduled from 3 pm to 530 pm. Disabled candidates will be given additional time of 20 minutes per hour. The reporting time has been fixed 1 hour 30 minutes before the start of the examination.
STET exam pattern
Bihar STET exam will be conducted for subjects falling under Paper-1 (Secondary) as per the syllabus prescribed for secondary classes and for subjects falling under Paper-2 (Higher Secondary) as per the syllabus prescribed for Higher Secondary classes. In Paper-1 and Paper-2, 100 questions will be from the specified subject and 50 marks will be from teacher art and other competencies. That means there will be a total of 150 questions. The duration of the examination to be conducted in CBT mode will be of two and a half hours.

General – 50 percent
Backward Class – 45.5 percent
Extremely Backward Class – 42.5 percent
SC, ST – 40 percent
Disabled – 40 percent
Women – 40 percent
All the candidates who pass Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be issued STET pass certificate whose validity will be lifetime.
