Overall, teachers who have become state employees will get the benefit, but not everyone is going to benefit from it. Employed teachers selected from the local body will not be transferred. Know who is going to get benefit in the new rules of this transfer. Education Minister Sunil Kumar said that applications for transfer posting will be taken soon. Teachers will be deployed in new schools by December 2024.

It has been kept important in the new rules of transfer-posting that it will be mandatory for disabled teachers to have a certificate given by the Civil Surgeon Office. Teachers suffering from serious illness will have to submit documents related to the treatment they are undergoing from a recognized hospital.

Priority for people with disabilities and serious illnesses

For transfer, teachers will have to apply online through the e-Shikshakosh app. In this, first priority will be given to those suffering from serious diseases like kidney, heart or disabled and widowed female teachers. Under this, if the wife's health remains unwell, the husband will be able to transfer her to school. Apart from this, if the husband's health also remains bad then the wife can be transferred to the same school.

If a disabled person wants to be transferred as per his convenience, he will also be given priority. Widowed female teachers can also be transferred near their home, but male teachers will not get posting in their home sub-division. However, transfer of teachers will be mandatory every five years as previously decided.

If regular teachers, BPSC or literacy test passed teachers do not apply for transfer, they will remain in their original school. The department will consider it after the completion of his five-year term. 10 options will be given for transfer-posting and efforts will be made to keep the teacher in an area close to his sub-division or district.

Transfer-posting of all teachers except employed teachers will be done simultaneously in the first phase in December. Transfer-posting will be done through a new software based application developed by the department. Regarding transfer-posting, the ratio of students and teachers in the school will be kept in mind. Transfer-posting will be done considering the vacancies of teachers in the school.
