Bihar Public Service Commission 70th Combined Preliminary Examination is likely to be held on 13th and 14th December. The Commission earlier wanted to conduct this examination on 17th November. Its proposal was also sent. However, this time the examination is being conducted for the maximum number of posts for the 70th combined examination. For the first time in history, there have been 1950 vacancies.
Commission Secretary Satyaprakash Sharma said that the number of applicants in the examination is expected to be high. Therefore, the date of the examination has been revised and a letter has been written to the District Magistrates to conduct it in December. Around seven to eight lakh candidates are likely to appear in this examination. There is a need for an examination center at the district level for these candidates. Regarding the examination centre, BPSC has written a letter to all the district officials asking for information about the examination center selection by 18th October. District officials have been told that the availability of boundaries, lights, water, benches, desks, toilets, wall clock in each classroom etc. at the examination centers should be in good condition. Also, there should be easy transportation facilities to the examination centres. The center has to be selected by selecting government and private reputed educational institutions (except private colleges) as per the criteria of the Commission.
In the letter issued, the Commission has directed that during the examination, arrangements will be made for only one candidate to sit on a bench of three feet and only two candidates to sit on a bench of five feet. The distance from one bench to another will be at least three feet. Let us tell you that this examination will be conducted in more than 30 districts.
The application process for the 70th PT is going on by the Commission. So far more than three lakh candidates have registered. This number will increase further rapidly. Candidates can apply till 18th October. Through this examination, 1,957 posts will be filled in different departments of Bihar government.
