BPSC 70th CCE Notification 2024: BPSC's 70th Civil Services Examination will be the biggest recruitment in the history of the commission. There will be recruitment for 1964 posts in BPSC 70th. Requisition has been received for 1929 posts from 17 departments. 35 other posts are yet to come from two departments. The state civil services examination has never been conducted for so many posts before. The vacancies will include 200 posts of SDM and 136 posts of DSP. The recruitment notification will be issued in a day or two. One month's time will be given for application. BPSC Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai said in a press conference on Friday that the BPSC 70th PT exam will be held in the second week of November. The vacancy may increase or decrease category wise and department wise. 10 times the number of candidates will be taken for the Mains exam. The Mains exam will be held in February – March. Two and a half times the number of candidates will be taken for the interview.

The commission said that there will be one third negative marking in the PT exam. One third marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be a multiple choice paper of 150 questions. The exam can be held on more than one day or in multiple sets. Unreserved category students will have to pay Rs 600 for the application and others will have to pay Rs 150. 50 percent reservation will be applicable in the recruitment.
The notification of BPSC 70th recruitment exam can be released in a day or two on bpsc.bih.nic.in. After the release of the notification, candidates will be able to apply online by visiting onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in. The tentative date of BPSC 70th CCE PT exam (BPSC 70th CCE Prelims 2024) has been told as 17 November 2024.
