BPSC has decided to cancel the preliminary examination held at Bapu Examination Complex Center only due to the disruption caused by a group of unruly candidates as part of a conspiracy to disrupt the examination. The re-examination will be conducted on January 4 at some other center in the city. Singh said that we have received information that a group of private coaching institutes are instigating the candidates and they are organizing the students demanding cancellation of the entire examination. Their demand is baseless.

Letter written to CM

This statement of the BPSC Examination Controller has come at a time when many political personalities have come out in support of the protesters. The protesters have been protesting continuously for more than a week and once even tried to enter the BPSC campus, after which the police took action. Last week, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav had met the protesters at the Gardnibagh protest site in the city and expressed his solidarity with them. Yadav had also written a letter to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar demanding cancellation of the examination.

Political leaders also came forward
Bihar Congress state president Akhilesh Prasad Singh and independent MP from Purnia Pappu Yadav have also made similar indications. Apart from this, Jan Suraj Party had also written a letter to the Chief Secretary to cancel the examination and its founder Prashant Kishore had gone to the protest site a day earlier, where he had warned the government to resolve the crisis within three days and Said that otherwise he would lead the protest himself. However, the protesters seemed angry at political leaders trying to use their movement for their own agenda.
