There has been no improvement in the result of PG second semester of BRABU and internal in third semester was started from 30th May. Students are upset with the internal examination being conducted without result improvement. They say how will they give their internal. However, the Controller of Examinations says that all students can give internal. 4500 students had complained about the discrepancy in the result in PG second semester. The students had also created a ruckus in the university for this. The examination department had assured that these copies would be reviewed again. Vice Chancellor Prof Dinesh Chandra Rai said that the copies will be retotaled, the process for this has started. Students started protesting in the university only after the result of PG second semester session 2022-24 was declared. The students said that they have been failed even after writing all the answers. Many students were failed in CC five paper of Physics and CC six paper in History. These students had also put forth their views in the student dialogue. It was said in the student dialogue that this problem would be resolved, but students are angry as there has been no improvement even after 20 days of the result being released. Many departments have also announced the date for admission in the third semester. The third semester form has to be filled from 22 to 29 June. The examination department says that all the results will be corrected before filling the form.
VC will be held between 10-11 am, not after 1 pm
The timing of VC with the headmasters of government schools has been changed from Friday. Now it will take place between 10-11 am. Earlier the time of VC was after one o'clock. In the light of the order of the Chief Secretary, in view of the current severe heat and heat wave, the district officer has kept the teaching work closed in all the government and private schools (including coaching institutes) of the district from 30 May to 8 June. The DEO has directed that as per the instructions given in the VC by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, only the teaching work has been kept closed in the school, while the administrative work will go on as before.
Students' details have to be uploaded on e-Shikshakosh on time, Aadhaar updation of children, timely compliance of orders and instructions issued from various levels, evaluation of answer sheets of various examinations and preparation for publishing results, editing of various ongoing schemes in the school, etc. Teachers will come at the previously scheduled time only.
Even teachers are fainting without fans:
More than 30 percent of the schools in the district still do not have electricity. Even in the schools that have electricity, there is no provision of fans. In such a situation, teachers are also fainting without fans. The health of many female teachers in different schools of the district deteriorated on Thursday.
