The competency examination started from Monday to give the status of state employee to the employed teachers of the state. On the first day, online examination was conducted in both shifts at 52 centers in nine districts. About 35 to 40 thousand employed teachers participated. However, low attendance has been reported from some centres. Many teachers also faced difficulty in operating the mouse.

Shoes, socks and anklets were also removed. Strict measures were taken to ensure that no one can commit malpractice in the examination by using the electronic gazette. Teachers have been checked at two levels before entering the examination centre. Because of this many teachers got angry at some centres. However, no one was allowed to enter the center without investigation. The mobile phone was kept at the main gate itself. Women teachers were also allowed inside after investigation. Shoes and socks were also opened. At the same time, chains, anklets and anklets etc. of female teachers were removed. Tape was pasted on the female teachers who were wearing nose rings.

Teacher organizations expressed anger over taking the exam Here, the leaders of Primary Teachers Organization and Secondary Teachers Organization said that the government is harassing the employed teachers in the name of examinations. The government is doing injustice to the employed teachers. Teachers are being asked difficult questions in the name of easy exams.

The level of questions was difficult

The teacher candidates were surprised to see the questions in the exam. Many said that the government had said that easy questions will be asked in the examination but looking at the level of questions no one can say that the questions have been asked easily. The questions were asked quite difficult. Questions were asked like TRE One and TRE Two. This was told by the teacher candidates appearing in TRE One and TRE Two. Many candidates said that questions of 30 marks were asked in the language. This was also not easy. The English questions were troublesome. Whereas 15 to 20 questions were asked from teaching aptitude. However, 15 to 20 questions of General Knowledge were very easy. The level of subject based questions was mixed. Teachers told that only 60 percent teachers will be able to achieve the fixed cutoff.
