The process of admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD has started in MMMUT, Gorakhpur. On Thursday, in the Golden Jubilee Auditorium, Vice Chancellor Prof. JP Saini also released the Undergraduate Admission Brochure 2024-25. He gave detailed information about the changes made under NEP and the increase in seats in popular courses in the interest of students. The Vice Chancellor said that admission will be taken on 1189 seats in B.Tech. In this, there are 1086 seats for the candidates of Uttar Pradesh and 103 seats for the candidates of other states. The admission process has started from June 12 through JEE Mains. Admission will be taken through CUET for 84 seats in B.Tech second year lateral entry. Admission will also be taken through CUET for 120 seats of BBA, 60 seats of B.Pharm and 6 seats of B.Pharm lateral entry. After the result of CUET, registration and admission counseling will start in BBA, B.Pharm.
During the release of the Graduate Admission Brochure, Chairman of Admission Cell Prof. Shriram Chaurasia, Dean Prof. VK Mishra, Prof. Sanjay Mishra, Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Prof. VK Dwivedi, Registrar Dr. Jai Prakash and University Liaison Officer Dr. Abhijit Mishra were present.
Admission to 216 seats of MTech Admission will be taken on a total of 216 seats in 12 branches of MTech. Admission will be taken through GATE and CUET in order of preference. If seats are left vacant, admission will be given through MET. Registration for admission in MTech has started from June 5. Admission for 75 seats of MBA will be taken through CAT, CMAT and CUET in order of preference.
Admission to 48 seats of PhD
Admission will be taken on 48 seats of PhD. Out of these, 27 seats will be with university fellowship and 17 seats will be self-financed. Four seats will be under Visvesvaraya Scholarship Scheme of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Admission to PhD will be done through MET. Many other opportunities have also been given to the researchers for fellowship.
