B.Tech course will be started for employed persons in eight institutes associated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Affiliation will be granted to the selected institutions by calling a meeting of the Executive Council in the second week of March. After this they will be able to take admission in this institute. B.Tech for Working Professionals course will be started in eight colleges of Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Moradabad and Lucknow affiliated to AKTU. The beginning of the session is considered to be fixed from the month of April. This course offered by the college is recognized as full time. In this, you will get a degree after completing four years of study. For this course, colleges affiliated to technical universities will be able to take admission on more than 30 seats.

Vice Chancellor Professor JP Pandey said that the seats offered by the college will not be added to the already approved seats. He said that in the meeting of the Affiliation Committee held in the month of January, other outlines including admission, fees and examination of the course have been decided.

Courses will be started in these colleges
– Greater Noida Galgotias ITS, Noida Institute.
– Ghaziabad ABESEC, IPAC.
– Meerut, MIET.
– Moradabad, Moradabad Institute of Technology.
– The process of admissions in Ramswaroop College of Engineering and Management, Lucknow will be started soon.

Affiliated colleges will be able to take admission on more than 30 seats.

Intellectual Property Rights and IP Management for Startups Workshop was organized by Navayug Innovation Foundation and Institutions Innovation Council of Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). The keynote speaker was Ishan Tiwari, IP attorney of LLP firm. He gave information to the students and startups about taking IPR, Patent, Copyright, Trademark, Geographical Indications. Dr. Seetalakshmi, Professor Incharge of Incubation Center, shared detailed information about the works of Navyug Innovation Foundation and assistance to startups. Dr. Pushkar explained the importance of IPR.
