Jamia Millia Islamia has started many new courses in B.Tech and M.Tech. Admission to all B.Tech courses will be based on the final ranking of JEE Main candidates. The new courses include B.Tech in Electrical and Computer Engineering, B.Tech in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology), B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) and M.Tech in Data Science. All of them are self financed. The annual fee for B.Tech is Rs 150,000 and for M.Tech is Rs 54,000. The application form is available on Jamia's website jmicoe.in.
Online admission forms for the courses for which admission will be given through JEE will be made available by the concerned agencies 10 days after the declaration of the results.

The objective of B.Tech in Electrical and Computer Engineering course is to prepare qualified engineers who can improve the security and strength of computing systems, especially in communication networks. Apart from this, their objective is also to make cyber-physical systems like smart grid, autonomous mobile system, industrial control system etc. more effective.
Similarly, with the help of B.Tech in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology) course, students will be trained in strategic domains. This course has been designed in such a way that students understand the challenges of designing and manufacturing nanoelectronics devices and chips while staying in India. Its curriculum will be based on the needs of IC and chip design industries.
B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Data Sciences) is a course in which students will cover core subjects like programming languages, algorithms, database systems, data mining, statistical analysis and machine learning.
Whereas MTech in Data Sciences is a PG course in which the focus will be on advanced study of Data Science.
